Whenever possible, Voices on the Green seeks to partner with exemplary not-for-profit organizations whose activities animate our values in the larger community. To do that, we seek to identify one partner organization for each event, a partner whose activities are an expression of that evening’s theme and who provides yet another voice for the show.
Typically, the Voices program publicizes the partnering organization in its publicity, recognizes its importance prominently during the show, and shares the proceeds of the evening to support its future work. The partner in turn is asked to help publicize the event (and their participation in it) to their own constituents, and to help provide refreshments (especially theme-related refreshments) for the audience and performers.
